My Very First Blog Post

I am so excited to finally be putting together my first blog post that I don't know what to say.  Literally...

I have been blog stalking other creative blogs since last summer when I stumbled upon http://www.howdoesshe.com/ while searching for some party ideas for my soon-to-be 5 year old daughter.  Wow! is all I can say about the world of creativity that I found by clicking around.  I have been smitten with blogs ever since.  I wake up in the mornings thinking about the projects and ideas that I've seen around blogland, and every unusual item I see falls into the category of "what can I make with this".  I have never really been a crafty girl.  I usually thought of it as too much trouble.  Not now!  I can't wait to browse the craft or home improvement stores.  I swoon over paint and cardstock.  I look carefully at and disassemble everything I can to see how it's made.  So, this is my new adventure.  I don't know where it will take me.  But I do know that if I don't have some kind of outlet for my creativity, and if I don't share it with my friends, I MIGHT JUST EXPLODE!!

So back up a bit. This might get messy!!!

Happy Friday,

Kim
